ABOUT THIS BIKE
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 rental in Chandigarh
The Meteor 350 sits between the Classic and the Himalayan in our fleet: modern ergonomics and a Tripper navigation pod on a bike that still rides like a Royal Enfield should. It is the one we recommend to someone who wants a comfortable single bike for both city riding and a hill run, rather than optimising for either extreme.
The riding position is more relaxed than the Classic and less demanding than the Himalayan’s adventure stance, which is why it tends to book out for routes like Chandigarh to Shimla or Dharamshala where the road stays paved but the ride still runs half a day or more.
WHERE IT EARNS ITS RATE
What the 350 is actually good at
City to hills in one bike
Comfortable enough for daily Chandigarh riding and capable enough for a Shimla or Dharamshala weekend without switching bikes.
Longer sitting comfort
The more upright, roadster-style ergonomics reduce wrist and back fatigue on rides past 3 to 4 hours compared with the Classic’s cruiser stance.
Built-in navigation
The Tripper pod pairs with a phone for turn-by-turn directions, useful on routes with junctions that are easy to miss.
What it is not built for
Like the Classic, it is a road bike rather than an adventure bike. Loose gravel, water crossings and the technical stretches on Spiti or Leh are outside what the suspension and ground clearance are built for, so we keep it to paved-road routes.
ROUTE FIT
Which routes this bike suits
Chandigarh to Shimla
A strong pick. Comfortable ergonomics for the full NH5 run and the climb past Kandaghat.
Chandigarh to Dharamshala
Good fit for the longer flat stretch through the Kangra Valley.
Chandigarh to Kasauli
Easy and comfortable, a good short ride for a newer rider.
Chandigarh to Spiti or Leh
Not recommended. Book the Himalayan for the gravel and altitude sections.
